SecretPlay - Marabou feather duster, red
Fifteen grams: the SecretPlay marabou feather duster is the lightest of the brand's three tickling accessories, ahead of the 25 to 30 g of the 40 cm tickler and the 45 g of the feather-tipped whip. A single end, built to graze. The manufacturer names marabou but publishes no length, no composition and no handle detail. The reference comes in two finishes.
Why choose this model?
- 15 g: the lightest of the three tickling accessories, half the weight of the 40 cm tickler.
- Length not published: only the packaging is measured, at 120 × 260 mm.
- Marabou: the only material named by the manufacturer for this model.
- A single end: it grazes, where the feather whip alternates between stroking and striking.
- Two finishes: the same reference issued in pink and purple, and in red.
How to use it
- Agree a stop signal before any blindfold: surprise is the point, consent is what makes it possible.
- Start well away from the expected places — the nape, the inner arms, behind the knees.
- Play with rhythm rather than intensity: a feather cannot build power, it works on the unexpected.
- Keep it off the face: feathers near the eyes irritate, and a barb once broken stays broken.
- Shake it out after use and store it flat, feathers free.
The 20-feather tickler extends the reach to 40 cm on a 30 cm shaft, and the feather-tipped whip adds a second end that strikes. See also choosing an accessory for two and cleaning an intimate accessory.
Care and precautions
A feather cannot be washed. No immersion, no soap, no alcohol: water sticks the barbs together and they never reopen. Shake it, comb it with your fingertips along the grain, let it air-dry if it has taken any damp. That impossibility of disinfecting has a direct consequence: a feather accessory belongs to one person, or gets replaced. Since the composition is not published, run a forearm test where an allergy to feathers or dust is known. Store it flat, out of the light and away from any heat source.
Frequently asked questions
How long is it?
Not published. Only the packaging is measured, at 120 × 260 mm.
What are the feathers made of?
The manufacturer states marabou, with no further detail of composition.
Can it be washed?
No. Feathers take neither water nor soap. Shake and comb, nothing more.
How does it differ from the 40 cm tickler?
The tickler weighs twice as much, measures 40 cm and sits on a 30 cm shaft.
Can it be shared?
A feather accessory cannot be disinfected. Keep it to one person.
SoPigalle tip: pass it through a stream of cool air, hairdryer held at a distance, before the first use. Feathers come out of the box compressed, and thirty seconds of air restores the volume that makes all the difference on skin.
