SecretPlay - 20-feather tickler 40 cm, black
Forty centimetres, thirty of them shaft: the SecretPlay 20-feather tickler is the only one of the brand's three tickling accessories for which the manufacturer publishes measurements. Twenty feathers mounted on a shaft 8 mm across, for a stated overall 40 cm. It weighs 25 to 30 g depending on the finish, against 15 g for the marabou duster. The feathers' composition is not published.
Why choose this model?
- 40 cm: the only published length in the range, including the 30 cm shaft.
- Twenty feathers: a volume that covers an area, where a duster works on a point.
- 8 mm shaft: stated as sturdy, it holds the distance without bringing the hand close.
- Composition not published: the manufacturer does not name the feathers' material.
- Two finishes: the same reference issued in black and in pink.
How to use it
- Agree a stop signal before any blindfold: surprise is the point, consent is what makes it possible.
- Hold the shaft at its end: the 30 cm exist to keep your hand out of the field of perception.
- Sweep across large areas — back, flanks, backs of the thighs — rather than working one spot.
- Keep it off the face: feathers near the eyes irritate, and a barb once broken stays broken.
- Shake it out after use and store flat, feathers free, shaft unbent.
The marabou duster drops to 15 g for a shorter, more precise gesture, and the feather-tipped whip adds a paddle that strikes. See also choosing an accessory for two and cleaning an intimate accessory.
Care and precautions
A feather cannot be washed. No immersion, no soap, no alcohol: water sticks the barbs together and they never reopen. Shake it, comb it with your fingertips along the grain, let it air-dry if it has taken any damp. That impossibility of disinfecting has a direct consequence: a feather accessory belongs to one person, or gets replaced. Since the composition is not published, run a forearm test where an allergy to feathers or dust is known. Store it flat: an 8 mm shaft put away bent keeps its bend.
Frequently asked questions
What are the dimensions?
Forty centimetres overall, with a 30 cm shaft 8 mm across.
How many feathers?
Twenty, according to the manufacturer, who publishes no composition for them.
Can it be washed?
No. Feathers take neither water nor soap. Shake and comb, nothing more.
How does it differ from the marabou duster?
Twice the weight, a published length, and a shaft that keeps the hand away.
Can it be shared?
A feather accessory cannot be disinfected. Keep it to one person.
SoPigalle tip: hold it at the end of the shaft, not the middle. Thirty centimetres of leverage make the gesture imprecise by design — and it is that imprecision which stops the other person anticipating where contact will land.
