SOPIGALLE GIFT CARD TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE AND USE
Article 1 – Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale and Use (GTC/GTU) define the conditions under which SoPigalle gift cards are issued, sold, and used on the website www.sopigalle.com.
Article 2 – Gift card issuer
SoPigalle gift cards are issued by:
SoPigalle – [head office address — 10th arrondissement of Paris, to be completed]
Article 3 – Gift card features
- The SoPigalle gift card is available from €30, with a customizable amount.
- It can be used for any purchase on the website www.sopigalle.com.
- The card is valid for 24 months from its purchase date.
- The gift card can be used in one or more transactions, until the balance is depleted (to be confirmed — see note below on native Shopify gift card functionality).
Article 4 – Purchase and delivery of the gift card
The gift card is available exclusively in digital format: it is sent by email, as a unique code that can be used directly during online payment.
[A physical format is only offered if SoPigalle has a point of sale — to date, no information confirms the existence of a physical store. This clause has therefore been removed; see notes below.]
Article 5 – Terms of use
- The buyer or recipient must enter the unique gift card code at the time of payment, in the dedicated field.
- Only one gift card can be applied per order (to be confirmed based on the chosen Shopify configuration — see note).
- The gift card cannot be used to purchase another gift card.
Article 6 – Validity and loss of the gift card
- Validity period: 24 months from the purchase date.
- After this period, the card can no longer be used or refunded.
- Loss of code: as the gift card is considered a means of payment, it cannot be replaced or refunded in case of loss of the code, except for a technical error attributable to SoPigalle.
Article 7 – Refunds and right of withdrawal
No refund will be issued after the purchase of a gift card, except in case of a technical error attributable to SoPigalle.
In accordance with Article L. 221-28 of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal does not apply to gift cards sent immediately by electronic means.
Article 8 – Usage limitations
- The gift card cannot be exchanged for money, either in cash or by bank transfer.
- Its balance cannot be transferred or split between several customer accounts.
Article 9 – SoPigalle's liability
SoPigalle cannot be held responsible for:
- the loss, theft, or fraudulent use of the gift card code once it has been communicated to the buyer;
- a temporary inability to use due to a technical incident beyond its control.
Article 10 – Applicable law and disputes
These GTC/GTU are subject to French law. In case of dispute, an amicable solution will be sought first. Failing an agreement, the competent courts will be those of Paris.
By purchasing or using a SoPigalle gift card, the customer fully accepts these general terms and conditions of sale and use.
